ChildFund Vietnam supports Cao Bang with a package of nearly VND 1.8 billion in the fight against covid-19

From April 21 to May 13, 2020, Area Development Office
ChildFund in Cao Bang organized the support package of medical supplies to fight against Covid-19 pandemic in 3 districts
of Thach An, Quang Hoa and Trung Khanh.
ChildFun Vietnam in Cao Bang presents the COVID-19 epidemic prevention supplies to Thach An district
The support package is divided into 2 phases. In
the first phase, ChildFund presented medical supplies including 6123 masks,
4502 dry hand-washing bottles, 18,864 soap bars, 237 phone cards (each worth
VND 200,000) to 17 communes of 3 districts and Tra Linh General Hospital (Trung
Khanh district). In the second phase, ChildFund Vietnam in Cao Bang presented
over 225 kg of Cloramin B cleaning solution, 272 thermometers, 600 sets of
medical protective equipment, 1,175 sheets of Covid-19 epidemic prevention and
control instruction, 7,000 individual water bottles for children, 50 bicycles
and 300 jackets for children in especially difficult circumstances. The total
value of the Covid-19 disease prevention and control activities in the above
districts is approximately VND 1.8 billion.
The Provincial Manager in Cao Bang Area Development
Office Trieu Duc Hoat said that together with Cao Bang, the support package was
deployed to more than 27,000 children in the project area in two other
provinces, Bac Kan and Hoa Binh. The emergency assistance response to the Covid
-19 pandemic in Vietnam is part of a strong and self-reliant community building
plan supported by ChildFund in the northern mountainous provinces of Vietnam.
