Cao Bang received 60,000 medical masks from China

September 7, Cao Bang province’s delegation led by Mr. Doan Trong Hung,
Provincial Party Member, Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs, arrived
at Ta Lung International Border Gate to receive medical masks for COVID-19
prevention and control donated by the Charity Association of Longzhou
district (Guangxi, China). Accompanying were leaders of
the Department of Health, Quang Hoa District Party Committee, Ta Lung Border
Gate Customs, Ta Lung Border Guard, and the Young Entrepreneurs Association of
Cao Bang province.

At the reception, Mr. Lao Riyong, Deputy Secretary of the Party
Committee of Longzhou District, Secretary of the Preparatory Committee of the
Longzhou Border Economic Cooperation Zone said that after being informed about
the complicated COVID-19 situation in Vietnam, the Long Chau District Charity
Association, with the spirit of cooperation and mutual support to overcome
difficulties in disease prevention agreed at the 2021 Spring Meeting, has
mobilized 60,000 medical masks to support Cao Bang province in the COVID-19
combat.
Mr. Doan Trong Hung, Director of Cao Bang Department of Foreign
Affairs, briefed on the situation of Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control in Viet
Nam in general and in Cao Bang province in particular. On behalf of the
delegation, he thanked Long Chau district for their concern and material and
spiritual support, which shows the friendly bond between the two localities. He
also affirmed that this support would be a great motivation for Cao Bang
province to successfully control the pandemic. He hoped that the traditional friendship
and cooperation between Vietnam and China would be forever strong.
