Talks on border gate cooperation between Cao Bang province (Vietnam) and Baise city, Guangxi (China)

March 25, 2021, the delegation of Cao Bang province, Vietnam led by Mr. Le Hai
Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the delegation of
the People's Government of Bach Sac city, Guangxi, China led by Mr. Shi Guohuai
- Deputy Mayor of the People's Government of the city held talks at the Soc
Giang - Pingmeng border gate.

At
the talks, the two sides discussed issues related to border gate work such as
building a dedicated road (opening border crossing) for transporting goods,
border trade, import and export of goods, and border gate operation and
coordination mechanism.
At
the end of the talks, the two sides signed a minutes with the following
contents: promoting the construction of a dedicated road (clearance passage) to
transport import and export goods within the Soc Giang (Vietnam) - Binh Mang
border gate. (China); temporarily open the opening (clearance entrance) Na
Doong - Na Ray within the border gate of Tra Linh (Vietnam) - Long Bang
(China); promoting goods exported from ASEAN countries to China through Tra
Linh - Long Bang, Soc Giang Binh Mang, Po Peo - Nhac Vu border gates; to build
a mechanism to coordinate border gate operation and to collect border gate fees
from Tra Linh (Vietnam) - Long Bang (China), Soc Giang (Vietnam) - Binh Mang.
