The province’s delegation works with the People's Committee of Trung Khanh district.

Implementing Decision No. 997/QD-UBND dated July 3, 2019 of the Provincial People's Committee approving the site clearance project to serve the implementation of the Agreement on Cooperation in Protection and Exploitation of Tourism Resources of Ban Gioc Vietnam) - Detian (China) Waterfall at landmark 835 and the foot of the waterfall, up to now, the work of site clearance and compensation for people due to the construction at landmark 835 has been completed. Business households in the area removed all their sales booths.

At the foot of the waterfall, there are 29 households with land within the acquired boundaries with a total area of 77,348 m2. Up to now, 26 households have received compensation of over 300 million VND. The People's Committee of Trung Khanh district has issued a document requesting households and individuals that have received compensation to dismantle all tents; coordinated with related parties to review the criteria to arrange sales kiosks for eligible households. Up to now, the progress of building sales kiosks for households who have land at the foot of the waterfall has completed over 95% of the work volume; frame of 22 kiosks and galleries has been completed.

The People's Committee of Trung Khanh District and the Management Board of Ban Gioc Waterfall Tourist Area proposed that the Provincial People's Committee assign the People's Committee of Trung Khanh district to assume the prime responsibility for and coordinate with other forces to strengthen propaganda for households; soon complete the criteria, statistics, review, classification and consider to arrange enough kiosks for 29 business households with land within the acquired boundaries at the foot of the waterfall. The People's Committee of Trung Khanh district has also directed the People's Committee of Dam Thuy commune to issue a notice to households that they cannot continue to operate their business without registration and management according to regulations; establish a working group which is headed by Chairman of the People's Committee of Dam Thuy commune to prevent land re-encroachment at the foot of the falls.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hai Hoa directed relevant units to continue propagating and mobilizing households to abide by the Party's guidelines and the State's laws on the planning and development of Ban waterfall tourist area; asked the Provincial Border Guard Command and the Provincial Public Security to strengthen coordination with units to actively develop plans to ensure security and order at Ban waterfall tourist area; suggested that the Management Board of the Waterfall Tourist Area continue to do well in the management of the landscape area according to its assigned functions and tasks and to strengthen close coordination with the People's Committee of Trung Khanh district and functional forces to prepare documents and temporarily hand over kiosks to households for management and use, committing to comply with regulations on kiosk management as well as business activities in accordance with the law.
