Chairman of Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee Hoang Xuan Anh presents a souvenir to the Counselor of the Vietnamese Embassy in Italy Nguyen Thai Hoc

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee Hoang Xuan Anh expressed his sincere thanks to Vietnamese Ambassador to Italy Duong Hai Hung and the Embassy for their warm welcome and support during the delegation's visit in Italy. He said that Cao Bang province, in recent years, has made efforts to expand cooperation with other countries' localities including Italy's, international organizations to attract more investment resources for socio-economic development of the province. However, up to now there has not really been an outstanding and clear mark in the cooperative relationship between Cao Bang and Italian localities. During the visit, Cao Bang's delegation had meetings with a number of Italian localities and sectors with which Cao Bang can cooperate, said the Chairman. Cao Bang will seek to promote the results of this visit through specific measures to expand and strengthen cooperation with Italian partners, which contributes to promoting the economic - cultural - social development of the province as well as the achievements of the strategic partnership between Vietnam and Italy.

Chairman of Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee Hoang Xuan Anh presented the potential and strengths in agriculture, border trade, tourism and human resource development of Cao Bang province to the Embassy. He also kindly requested the Embassy to continue to help and support Cao Bang province in recommending and promoting Cao Bang's image and potential to appropriate partners; call on potential and strategic investors to come to Cao Bang for visiting, researching, and implementing cooperation, aid and investment programs; support the connection of Cao Bang intellectuals, scientists, businessmen, overseas Vietnamese, and organizations and businesses in Italy to return to their homeland to share and exchange experiences, transfer of advanced technology and investment.

The Counselor of the Vietnamese Embassy in Italy Nguyen Thai Hoc, on behalf of the Embassy, welcomed the delegation's visit and expressed his joy at the development achievements of Cao Bang province in recent years. He expressed his belief the delegation's visit will be fruitful, which contributes to promoting the comprehensive cooperative relationship between Cao Bang and Italy. Accordingly, the two sides focus on innovation and green development, especially in the fields of agriculture and food, which is a world trend and Italy's strength. The Embassy of Vietnam in Italy will always accompany and support Cao Bang in connecting and promoting trade and investment, tourism as well as cooperative activities in the fields of culture, research and training with Italy.
