The U.S. Ambassador meets with Chairman of Provincial People's Committee
The Delegation of the U.S Embassy in Vietnam led by H.E Mr. Marc E. Knapper, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to Vietnam on November 27 had a meeting with the Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee.

Receiving and working with the delegation were Mr. Hoang Xuan Anh, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leadership representatives of related departments and sectors.

At the meeting, Chairman of Cao Bang provincial People's Committee expressed his pleasure to welcome the U.S Ambassador and the Delegation to Cao Bang province. He affirmed that the relationship between Cao Bang province and the US Embassy in Vietnam has been continuously expanded and strengthened. Especially, the project of building Quang Trung Kindergarten in Hoa An District funded by U.S. Indo-Pacific Command is the obvious for that. The Kindergarten has been handed over and put into use, which contributes to helping the local students have a spacious, clean and better learning environment with modern equipment.

The Chairman also gave a brief introduction of the province's potentials and strengths in three main fields including agriculture, tourism and border gate development. He hoped that the Ambassador would continue to support Cao Bang province and act a bridge to connect the US investors to Cao Bang for conducting researches, surveys and investment.

The US Ambassador thanked the Leadership of Cao Bang provincial People's Committee for the warm welcome and expressed his pleasure to visit Cao Bang province on the occasion of the handover ceremony of Quang Trung Kindergarten in Hoa An District. The Ambassador highly appreciated Cao Bang's achievements in socio-economic development over the past years and affirmed his desire to promote the cooperation between the United States and Vietnam in general and the US and Vietnam's localities in particular. The US Embassy has increased contact and meetings with leaders of provinces and cities to explore potential areas of cooperation such as trade, investment, health, education, and responding to climate change, promoting clean energy development, etc. The ambassador would continue to act as a bridge between the US partners and Cao Bang province and promote the development potential of Cao Bang province, especially the potentials in tourism, agricultural import and export and cooperation and educational development programs. He also expressed his wish to promote comprehensive cooperation with Cao Bang province in the coming time.
