During the meeting, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Trieu Dinh Le thanked the Embassy for the warm reception, provided a brief introduction of the social - economic development of Cao Bang province including its potentials and advantages and suggested a number of areas that Cao Bang province wishes to call for investment and cooperation in the future.

He affirmed that Cao Bang province is always consistent in its policy of expanding friendly cooperative relations with localities and organizations of traditional relationship countries, including the Russian Federation, to attract investment resources for socio-economic development. Cao Bangg has organized a number of provincial-level and sector-level working delegations to the Russian Federation. The province's Vietnam - Russia Friendship Association, which was established in 2012, is currently actively working, constantly propagating and raising awareness among generations of people in the province about the tradition of friendship between the two countries throughout history.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Trieu Dinh Le expressed his hope that the Vietnamese Embassy in the Russian Federation would continue to help and support Cao Bang province in recommending and promoting Cao Bang's image and potential to appropriate partners; call on potential and strategic investors to come to Cao Bang for visiting, researching, and implementing cooperation, aid and investment programs; support the connection of Cao Bang intellectuals, scientists, businessmen, overseas Vietnamese, and organizations and businesses in the Russian Federation to return to their homeland to share and exchange experiences, transfer of advanced technology and investment, and act as a bridge to bring indigenous products and goods of Cao Bang province to the international market.

The Ambassador Dang Minh Khoi, on behalf of the Vietnamese Embassy in the Russian Federation, expressed his joy at the development achievements of Cao Bang province in recent years. Acknowledging the suggestions of Cao Bang's delegation, he pledged that in the coming time, the Vietnamese Embassy in the Russian Federation would work more closely with the province to recommend and promote the image and development potential of the province; implement cooperation programs, aid and investment projects; exchange and provide information on Vietnam - Russia relations in recent times; recommend potential areas, especially in the fields of tourism development, high quality human resources training, labor export cooperation that the province wishes to promote cooperative activities with investors, industries and localities of the Russian Federation.

On the occasion, the delegation offered flowers to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh in Moscow city; learned about some relics associated with the historical events of the great Russian October Revolution, which marked the birth of the Soviet state founded by Lenin; visited the place where President Ho Chi Minh stayed in Saint Petersburg when he first came to Russia on June 30, 1923; paid a field trip to some models of agricultural, cultural and tourism development in the Russian Federation.
