At the meeting, Mayor of the People's Government of Baise municipal city Ge Guoke welcomed Cao Bang province's delegation to the 21st ASEAN-China Expo (CAEXPO) and China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (CABIS), and the Congress on China - ASEAN creative collaboration and development of industrial and supply chains and supply chains between Bach Sac and Cao Bang. He proposed that in the coming time, the two sides will promote cooperation in building industries in the border area; connect on planning, infrastructure and increase exchanges and coordination towards building a cross-border economic cooperation zone; pay attention to preferential policies to attract investment at Tra Linh international border gate to improve customs clearance quality, pilot research to build a smart border gate at Tra Linh (Vietnam) - Longbang (China) border gate (including the Na Doong (Vietnam) - Na Ray (China) border crossing); build border gate infrastructure and promote the opening of the pair of Po Peo (Vietnam) - Nhac Vu (China) bilateral border gate; enhance people-to-people exchanges and tourism; expand tourism cooperation and enrich cultural and sports exchange activities on both sides of the border.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trinh Truong Huy affirmed that by participating in CAEXPO and CABIS this time, Cao Bang hopes that China and regional organizations such as ASEAN in general and Cao Bang - Baise in particular would promote the mission of promoting cooperation in responding to new challenges and jointly taking advantage of opportunities from scientific and technological advances. Recently, the two sides have reached common understandings to enhance exchanges between key leaders of Cao Bang province and Baise city, which strengthens political trust and the tradition of friendship. The two sides also agreed to support and encourage local authorities at all levels and relevant departments and sectors to actively implement friendly exchanges, enhance learning from practical experiences, and build friendly cooperative relationships on economic, trade and tourism; restore and expand cooperation in agricultural fields.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trinh Truong Huy basically agreed with the proposals of the leaders of Baise city. He expressed his hope that the two sides, especially the border districts, continue to increase visits and exchanges at all levels; promote cooperation in the fields of tourism, culture and society; strengthen information and communication work to promote both sides' geoparks; promote exchange and cooperation in the fields of agriculture, science and technology; effectively use precious medicinal resources to transfer traditional medicine; promote the work of calling and promoting investment in potential and valuable agricultural products of Cao Bang.

The Vice Chairman expressed his hope that Baise city would continue to pay attention to investing in building border gate infrastructure, promoting the opening of the bilateral pair of Po Peo (Vietnam) - Yuexu (China) border gate; promote normal customs clearance on weekends and holidays at Tra Linh (Vietnam) - Longbang (China) border gate, including the Na Doong (Vietnam) - Na Ray (China) border crossing. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trinh Truong Huy proposed that the two sides consider piloting the construction of smart border gate of Tra Linh (Vietnam) - Long Bang (China); coordinate to complete procedures to submit to competent authorities for approval to build a specialized road project for transporting goods at the bilateral border gate of Soc Giang (Vietnam) - Pingmeng (China).

He also proposed that the two Sides continue to carry out good propaganda work and effectively implement 03 legal documents on the Vietnam - China land border and related agreements; promptly coordinate and adequately handle incidents arising on the border in the spirit of cooperation and friendship; strengthen cooperation in preventing illegal entry and exit and fighting all types of cross-border crimes; join hands to build a border of peace, friendship, stability, cooperation and development; jointly promote cooperation in cross-border labor management to meet labor and employment needs.
